World’s First Lectures on Frugal Engineering
I taught a course on Frugal Engineering as part of the prestigious ICCR Visiting Chair Professorship at the Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), Germany (between June and October 2022). The ICCR position is awarded by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to an eminent expert in a chosen filed of study. Such an expert represents India and is deputed at selected top ranked universities around the world.
Three classes were taken as part of the course on Frugal Engineering. This course though offered in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at LUH was also attended by students in other branches of engineering.
My LUH-Germany lectures are on YouTube and I am pasting the links below for your viewing. Tutorium 1 is on climate change and sustainability; Tutorium 2 is on advanced frugal products; and Tutorium 3 is on frugal engineering.
